As Shaynna and Rob experienced first hand on May 9th, 2015, even a grey day makes for the perfect backdrop for a Saltwater Farm wedding.
Having chosen to be married on the front patio, the beautifully adorned wooden gate, stone pillars and pre-budbreak vineyard served as the background for their ceremony.
The bridesmaids wore seafoam green (a top color for 2015) and carried bouquets of lavender, a prefect compliment to the bride’s elaborate yet elegant bouquet of white and purple flowers, succulents and Dusty Miller.
Before heading inside for the evening, Shaynna, Rob and guests headed to the back patio for cocktails and nibbles, taking a moment to snap some photos, including this group shot – love!
Inside, pops of purple were found throughout the space, from the florals, lace accented linens and even the uplighting. Succulents played double duty, acting as both place cards and wedding favors, a reminder of the evening for years to come.
A long farm table and hanging birdcages defined the head table, while the remainder of guests were seated at round tables with stunning tree-like centerpieces. Twinkle lights canopying from the rafters added an air of whimsy, dare I say Midsummers Nights Dream vibe.
A truly memorable event and amazing family to boot. The space looked spectacular and we were so happy to have shared in Shaynna and Rob’s celebration.
As Shakespeare wrote, “The course of true love never did run smooth,” however these two high school sweethearts really did make it look easy and magical on their wedding day.
Cheers to Shaynna and Rob! We hope you make it back for a visit soon!
