RB9We are excited to share the beautiful wedding of Melissa and Jeff, recently featured on Style Me Pretty. They were married at Saltwater Farm Vineyard on November 8th, 2013 under a canopy of crisp fall leaves. We love all of their personal touches and the burnt orange and purple accents found in the bouquets, paper goods and bridal party attire. Read on for their story and how the couple ended up at the Vineyard.

RB10From the Bride…

Jeff and I were first introduced through a mutual friend in early 2010, but didn’t hit it off until we saw each other at a local bar the one weekend he wasn’t snowboarding in Vermont that winter. As our love grew, so did our shared interests in the outdoors and our love for New England, which is why when we saw Saltwater Farm Vineyard, we knew we had to get married there. From the sheer beauty of the grounds to the rustic-yet-chic interior, Saltwater shines even without the addition of flowers and other wedding decor. We knew we wanted to capture the essence of fall on our wedding day, which is why we went with vibrant purples and oranges, as well as grays and greens for our color scheme. I’ll never forget how beautiful my bridesmaids looked with their orange shawls popping off of their purple dresses. We also wanted our day to be as fun and light-hearted as possible, right down to the paper goods. Everything (invites, programs, escort cards, etc.) was designed by my good friend, coworker and creative director Kate Keparutis – she captured the exact fun tone we wanted to convey.

RB5We also knew we wanted to weave snowboarding into our wedding too (especially since Jeff inspired me to learn and love the sport!) so instead of a guest book, we opted for a guest board. Jeff dug up one of his old boards, bought some paint markers and copied the leaf pattern and font from our paper goods onto the board. We also used mountain names and places we’d gone to together as table names. We opted for simple centerpieces with my favorite flower and white pumpkins, and Yumiko and her team at Hana Floral Design put together flowers that were beyond what we could have imagined. It was a little difficult for me to find the right dress, but I finally landed on a Nicole Miller from Everthine Bridal Boutique – I felt beautiful and comfortable, and believe the dress worked perfectly with the effortless elegance of Saltwater. Despite some pretty chilly wind and temperatures, we truly had the best day ever there. From our amazing family and friends, to the wonderful staff and top-notch vendors, it was an extremely happy blur we will never forget. We can’t wait to go back and celebrate our one year anniversary there.

Thank you both for letting us share your wonderful day… we can’t wait to see you back for your anniversary. See the full post featured on Style Me Pretty!

Cheers to Melissa and Jeff and all of our Saltwater Farm couples,
