During the month of May the vineyard changes more noticeably than any other time of the year. For the first two weeks the vines look much like they would in the winter while the world is getting greener and the days are a bit warmer and longer. Bud break typically occurs around the 15th, give or take several days depending on the weather. And by the end of the month the vines are climbing up toward the second wire.

Check out these weddings and watch the vineyard change from bare to budding in thirty-one days.

Lauren and Check were wed on May 16, 2015. Just noticeable are the little green and pink leafs that are the first stage of growth for the Vineyard.

While the Vineyard was in its earliest stage of green, Lauren and Chuck enlisted Hana Floral to bring in plenty of amazing florals and greenery indoors.

The foliage on the vines is much more prominent than just a couple weeks earlier. By the end of the month it has really begun to fill in to create several inches of greenery above the vine’s trunk.

The bridesmaids each wore their own shade of rosey pink in differing styles and textures and a farm table was used for the head table complimented by round tables with linens for guests.

Non-traditional takes on wedding staples like a “guest book wine bottle” collection to commemorate anniversaries and monogramed cupcakes in place of a wedding cake added personal and fun touches to the evening.
