The shoreline of southeastern Connecticut and Rhode Island may be thought of as a summertime destination, but don’t be fooled, there is plenty going on this Sunday to make you feel fall in New England.

Fun with the Kiddos
Take the babes for a scenic Sunday drive to Clark Farms in Matunuck, RI and enjoy a petting zoo, hay rides, corn maze and even a mining station (call (410) 783-1331 for more info). Red36’s 2nd Annual Carving Contest
This Sunday from 4pm to 6pm Red36 is hosting its second annual pumpkin carving contest. All you need to bring is a hollowed out pumpkin and your tricks of the trade to make your pumpkin a real treat. Standard carving tools will be provided and prizes will be awarded for the top 3 pumpkins…and everyone is a winner with each participant receiving a complimentary cocktail.
Oyster Club’s “Sunday Supper Series”
This Sunday kicks off Oyster Club‘s second season of their “Sunday Supper Series” with a Fermentation Dinner! Explore the ancient methods of curing, smoking, pickling and fermenting used to create some of their signature favorites. Aaren from The Beer’d Brewing Co., Todd from Farm To Hearth Bakery, and Brian from The Mystic Cheese Company will attend to discuss how these methods play into their products. Sunday Night Dinner & a Movie
