THE STAFF THAT MUDDERS TOGETHER…
Over the past two years members of our Tasting Room staff, friends of Saltwater Farm, and even SFV owner Michael, have joined together to participate in the New England Tough Mudder. This year we are sending five of our own up to Mount Snow in Vermont for what is sure to be a challenging but all-too-much fun weekend.
The Tough Mudder, which is an event based off of British Armed Forces training, is held internationally, and is as they describe it, “Probably the toughest event on the planet.” In Vermont, the course spans 10 miles and includes 20 or so military style obstacles, but the real challenge is the terrain which traverses up and down the mountain several times. Trust me, the obstacles are a somewhat welcome distraction from the hiking-sometimes crawling-up to the summit, which reaches an elevation of 3,600 ft.
With the event happening this weekend, we dedicate this Fitness Friday to all you Mudders out their who are gearing up for the May 31st and June 1st festivities. Best of luck and we will see you at the finish. No quit in here!
